So, for some reason, there is a TON of Dracula - Phantom crossover fic where Erik and the Count are randomly BFFs, and Mina, Erik and Christine get turned into vampires and live out their days...having double dates in graveyards on Wednesdays or something. In one particular fic (which my friend B showed me), for some reason Mina was pregnant and Christine was a vampire but Mina wasn't yet and nobody was referred to by their name - only by THE PHANTOM'S LOVER or DRACULA'S LOVER or THE PREGNANT MORTAL or THE VAMPIRESS and so on.

So we decided that it ought to be a supernatural soap opera or Harlequin romance novel. Hence all the windblown hair and the girls' dresses falling off.
